Marie is a South Pole principal consultant with over seven years of experience. In her role, she conducts carbon footprint calculation of corporate operations and events as well as climate finance projects. Prior to this, Marie worked as an energy specialist for responsAbility Investments, where she led the implementation of the carbon footprinting process and emission compensation and was central in setting up the Impact Reporting Function for the Global Climate Partnership Fund (GCPF), developing the fund carbon accounting framework and routines. Marie has a MSc. in Engineering Physics with a specialisation in statistics and environment from Lund University.
