As one of Switzerland's leading producers of building materials, Holcim is meeting the challenges of a sustainably built future: Their latest addition to the range of sustainable products is EvopactZERO, the first resource-efficient and climate-neutral concrete in Switzerland.
EvopactZERO is created from recycled aggregates and resource-saving Susteno cement, making it the most sustainable concrete in Switzerland. It is also climate neutral, as the remaining carbon emissions of the concrete production are offset by projects from South Pole, a globally recognised project developer and leading adviser on climate action solutions.
EvopactZERO makes an important contribution in advancing sustainable, circular approaches in construction through the reuse of demolished materials in cement and concrete. In addition, the use of recycled construction materials saves landfill space and reduces transportation distances. EvopactZERO eliminates carbon emissions without compromising quality, which makes it suitable for all areas of building construction.
The launch of EvopactZERO is a key milestone for Holcim as the company works towards its goal to produce entirely climate neutral and recyclable building materials by 2050.
