Thomas has 20 years of international experience in sustainability, retail and corporate real estate. He is fluent in English, French, Portuguese, Spanish and German. Thomas built up South Pole's global Marketing team as Director for 5 years, focusing on corporate branding and positioning, lead generation, communications and events, as well as project storytelling to highlight the environmental and community impacts of sustainable development. Together with his team, he provided comprehensive marketing support, empowering many of the world's leading brands on their sustainability journeys. Recently, he reinforced South Pole's business development team to add his deep expertise of Marketing to enrich South Pole's capabilities in this client-facing role. Prior to working with South Pole, he worked for leading Swiss retailer Migros, where he founded m-way electric mobility stores and the peer-to-peer car sharing platform sharoo. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
