South Pole, on behalf of the KliK Foundation, works with Swiss company, Danfoss Schweiz to increase the adoption rate of the Danfoss Living Eco Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRVs) a sustainable heating technology. The Living Eco TRV features two pre-installed energy-saving programmes that work with regular diurnal heating routines. They also feature an open window function, which automatically regulates heating loads when a room is aired.

The Danfoss Living Eco TRV is easy to use, and creates higher energy efficiencies achieving electricity savings of up to 23% in some homes, as well as promoting the transition of the Swiss economy towards an even lower carbon future. Increasing the efficiency of household space heating with Living Eco TRV devices creates emission reductions, which are monitored by South Pole, verified by an independent auditor, and certified by the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment. They are then passed on to the KliK Foundation. Users receive an environmental discount of 15 CHF on each device in return for their participation.
