South Pole Australia

and Our Offering

At South Pole Australia, we help to shape a sustainable economy with positive impacts on climate, ecosystems and communities. Every day, across Australia and in over 20 different countries, we help organisations and governments make a meaningful contribution to climate action and create value on their sustainability journey. From the United Nations to the world's top financial institutions and leading consumer goods brands, South Pole is enabling these organisations to get #readyfor2020.

South Pole's presence in Australia spans all areas of expertise from consulting, marketing, sales and portfolio. Our local Australian team is well-connected to our global network of experts. We help clients across multiple sectors to tackle climate change with sustainability solutions tailored to their values and needs. Our Australian offering includes consulting, marketing and products services across four key areas; certificates, public advisory, advisory & data and green funds. This involves providing both the public and private sector with emissions reductions and renewable energy certificates and sustainability services that include sustainable supply chains and Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) advisory. In addition, we provide advisory on carbon pricing, climate finance, smart cities and climate policy/Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) for the public sector.

EcoAustralia combines Australian government-endorsed biodiversity credits with international carbon credits, giving organisations offsetting with this product the opportunity to fight global climate change and contribute to the regeneration and preservation of Australia’s most vulnerable ecosystems. Melbourne Airport were pleased to implement EcoAustralia’s carbon offset package:

"The EcoAustralia offset package provides Melbourne Airport with the opportunity to support Victorian biodiversity assets, and contribute to the global effort to reduce carbon emissions. We proudly offset our staff travel and vehicle fleet every year and look forward to continuing that with South Pole."

- Melbourne Airport Executive General Manager Corporate Services, Lisa Evans.
