South Pole is looking to establish a committee of city climate finance experts to steer Climate-KIC's City Finance Lab (CFL) initiative.
The CFL is managed by South Pole and operates under Climate-KIC's (LoCaL) flagship program on cities, the Low Carbon City Lab (LoCaL). The CFL aims to identify, develop and scale new financial tools for a low carbon, climate-resilient transition.
The CFL committee is set to meet twice a year. The function of the CFL committee is to take responsibility for strategic direction and to decide on the final selection of initiatives for the CFL. More specifically, the committee will be responsible for the following activities:

The initial CFL Committee members will be appointed for a duration of 1 year by the consortium of partners of the CFL, including South Pole, Imperial College, CDP and the Global Fund for Cities Development (FMDV), and validated by Climate-KIC.
