South Pole tops prestigious Environmental Finance Voluntary Carbon Market Rankings for a record ninth consecutive year: Partners and industry peers vote South Pole as Best Project Developer in multiple categories.
South Pole has been recognised in the 2019 Environmental Finance Voluntary Carbon Market Rankings, this year winning a total of four categories and coming runner up in a further two.
The awards recognise the sustainability solutions provider once more for its dedication to helping organisations meet their climate neutrality targets, as well as its results-based approach to delivering global emission reductions and sustainable impacts for the world's most vulnerable ecosystems and communities.
South Pole was successful in the categories Best Project Developer – overall and Best Trading Company for the ninth year running, Best Project Developer – Renewable Energy for the sixth year running, and Best Project Developer – Energy Efficiency. As well as taking out the top spot in these four categories, the company came runner up in the categories of Best Project Developer – forest & land-use and Best Project Developer – Public Health.
