Rita Schwarzelühr-Sutter

Rita Schwarzelühr-Sutter is the Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister for the Environment Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety for Germany. From 2005 to 2009 she was a member of the German Bundestag. From 2008 to 2009 she headed the working group "Sustainable Mobility" in the SPD party executive committee. From January 2010 to October 2010 she worked as a management consultant. After that, she moved in October of the same year for Dr. Ing. Hermann Scheer (MdB) back to the German Bundestag. Since 2014, she has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Gesellschaft für Anlagen- und Reaktorsicherheit (GRS mbH), the Board of Trustees of the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt and a member of the Mittelstandsrat of the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW).
