The NSW Office of Environment and Heritage in Sydney is hosting a seminar at the Australian Museum, on "Smart Sustainable Districts - Learning from the European Experience".
The EIT Climate Knowledge Innovation Community (Climate-KIC) is Europe's largest climate public private partnership. One of its key urban transition platforms is the Smart Sustainable Districts Programme, aiming to create sustainable developments and resilient, zero-carbon communities. A group of government, university and private sectors representatives, including South Pole Group, have been working together to develop Climate-KIC Australia to build on this successful model. Please contact Thomas Schröder, Director of Marketing & Communications, if you would like to receive further insights on Climate-KIC Australia.
Participate in this seminar to learn about the benefits of systemic innovation in creating low carbon districts in Europe and find out how to get involved in this exciting Australian initiative that will help to deliver new businesses, jobs and responses to climate challenges.
