Transforming Delhi's metro stations to generate renewable energy
India's capital has been named the most polluted city in the world by the World Health Organisation. However, the DMRC, which transports Delhi's millions of residents, is paving the way for India to reach its target of using renewable energy for 57% of the country's total energy capacity by 2027.

This project involves the installation of solar panels in 31 of the DMRC sites around Delhi. The project replaces fossil fuel generated electricity, instead exporting clean and renewable solar power to the national grid.
This project aids the fulfillment of India's progressive renewable energy target; reducing harmful carbon emissions by replacing fossil fuels with clean and renewable solar power. The project has also boosted the economy by creating employment and leading the way for innovative sustainable industrialisation.
