John Dams runs the Climate Programme at The Shift, Belgium's biggest sustainability network. He helps forward-thinking organisations set science-based, impactful strategies and move towards a net zero economy.

Vanessa Pezet

Program Director, Gaïago Carbon and Climate Solutions, Gaïago

Vanessa Pezet is an Agronomist and the Director of Carbon Solutions at Gaïago. She has dedicated her career to agricultural and environmental innovation. After developing her technical expertise in biocontrol, recycled-material fertilizer formulation, and renewable energy (photovoltaics), she chose to tackle the challenge of financing the agricultural transition. Joining Gaïago, she created and structured the Gaïago Carbon program. Her mission today is to make carbon finance a tangible lever to accelerate regenerative agriculture and fairly compensate farmers for restoring their soils.
