Adam White is Secretary-General of the RECS Energy Certificate Association, a non-profit foundation representing energy producers, traders, and consumers who rely on energy attribute certificates to buy and sell renewable energy. As Secretary-General, Adam works to support RECS' membership of over 125 organisations in the development and maintenance of efficient and effective renewable energy markets. RECS gives organisations and individuals the knowledge, motivation and confidence to buy 100% renewable energy. At RECS, Adam also advocates for the development and implementation of legislation that supports and encourages renewable energy production and procurement. Adam also leads the organisation of the RECs Market Meeting, the leading global annual conference on renewable energy certificates.
Complementing his work at RECS, Adam is a member of the EnergyTag Advisory Committee advising on EAC Markets and a Board Member at the GEECA Foundation supporting and overseeing D-REC Organisation's goal of unlocking climate finance for equitable energy access through impact labelling of distributed renewable energy projects in low resource settings. Before joining RECS Adam worked for the WWF European Policy Office as Senior Research Coordinator on Climate and Energy, and before coming to Brussels Adam worked as a researcher for elected members of the UK Parliament and the London Assembly.
Dr Toby Ferenczi is CEO of Granular Energy, a software company focused on clean energy management, including enabling 24/7 clean energy sourcing and trading.
Toby is an entrepreneur with 20 years' experience in the energy sector including 2 previous start-ups and has worked at General Electric, OVO Energy, and is also the founder of the non-profit EnergyTag.org. He has a degree in Physics from Cambridge University and a PhD in solar energy from Imperial College.
James is an energy markets specialist focussing on the revenue risk management within Octopus Energy Generation's funds, which totals £7bn under management. Key to James' role is leading on the origination of structuring of utility and corporate PPAs as a risk management tool for Octopus Energy Generations' renewables assets.
