Shanti Mors is a Climate Projects and Environmental Solutions professional with over a decade of experience in nature-based solutions. Through his collaborative approach, he has successfully co-developed innovative farming practices in tandem with landowners, fostering mutually beneficial relationships. With a background in Ecology and Business Development, Shanti and his team manage over 1,000,000 ha of carbon projects. They are setting up Australia’s first methane avoidance projects for dairy and beef cattle, and developing ways for landowners to access investment.
Ian Sawyer, an experienced ruminant nutritionist since 1987, holds qualifications in animal production from the University of Sydney and business from Macquarie University. He is an Adjunct Fellow at the University of Melbourne, where he regularly lectures in master's programs and occasionally in undergraduate courses on animal production. Ian is also an honorary fellow and former president of the Australian Association of Ruminant Nutrition. He served as an invited external reviewer for the globally recognized textbook "Large Dairy Herd Management" by the American Association of Dairy Science. Ian maintains strong academic connections both in Australia and abroad. As a partner at Feedworks Australia, he mentors and supports individuals in his beloved industry while continuing to learn and collaborate globally with friends and colleagues.
