Matt has over 10 years of experience in consultancy specialising in energy procurement and energy market advisory services including familiarity with topics such as PPA accounting treatment. Backed by client management skills, Matt has an extensive track record in providing tailored risk managed advice across global markets to a broad sector including government, water utilities, commercial and industrial clients.
Before joining South Pole, Matt worked for an Australian based climate consultant, ERM Energetics, where he advised clients on their optimal renewable energy strategies and led end-to-end PPA transactions including cohort/group aggregation models. Matt has a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and a Postgraduate Diploma in Energy and Carbon Studies and is based in our Amsterdam office.
Beatriz has worked in consulting for over 15 years. She specializes in developing sustainability strategies for organizations with significant agricultural footprints, from agritraders to global consumer brands.
Her expertise includes carbon accounting, sustainable sourcing, supplier engagement, and corporate water stewardship. Recently, she has led the implementation of carbon insetting schemes for carbon removals reporting in cocoa and coffee supply chains.
Beatriz is one of South Pole's CDP experts, covering Water, Climate and Forests reporting. Additionally, she is knowledgeable in SBTs FLAG target setting.
She holds an MA in International Development from the University of Kent and a BA in Political Science from ITAM
Ajit leads South Pole's Climate Risk services in APAC. He has overseen the end-to-end delivery of climate risk assessments, GHG inventories, and decarbonisation roadmaps for conglomerates, financial institutions and large agribusiness, retail and industrial supply chains across Asia-Pacific and Europe. Ajit also leverages his experience to help corporates build resilience strategies and integrate environmental risk management into their business. Ajit holds a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering (Hons) from Monash University and a Master of Climate Change from the Australian National University.
Chiru has multiple years of experience in supporting clients in designing their renewable energy procurement strategies. He has served both private and public sector clients from a variety of industries, including food & beverage, manufacturing, electronics, semiconductors, textiles, financial institutions, and government agencies. Chiru holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a master's degree in Energy Technology.
