IETA has today launched a major communications project for 2018 to support the UNFCCC process as it moves towards agreeing on a rulebook for implementing the Paris climate agreement.
The Talanoa Stories project showcases the work of IETA members including South Pole, by presenting their experiences and showcasing their ambitions to help achieve the Paris Agreement goals of keeping the average global temperature rise below 2 degrees Celsius.
The Talanoa Stories project shadows the formal UNFCCC Talanoa Dialogue, in which nations share their own experiences and ambitions as part of an ongoing conversation throughout the year.
In support of the Dialogue, IETA members have contributed their own words, images and films that highlight their commitment to the Paris goals, and underline how a price on carbon can drive private investment to achieve emissions reductions wherever they can be made.

The multimedia project will grow and develop throughout 2018, and will reach its final form at the UNFCCC meeting in Katowice, Poland in November.
