Oleg is the Regional Director for MENA & Central Asia at the I-TRACK Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that provides the global standard for energy attribute tracking. The Foundation enables the implementation of reliable, traceable International Renewable Energy Certificates for Electricity (I-REC(E)) systems and supports the growth of national renewable energy markets.
In his role, Oleg leads market development and stakeholder support across these key regions. He works closely with governments, renewable energy producers, and consumers to build voluntary markets and implement robust tracking standards in line with global best practices.
Eleonore Lazat is the Commercial Director at Granular Energy, a company that builds trading platforms and software tools to help corporate and utility buyers source clean energy 24/7 via hourly energy certificates. She joined Granular in mid-2022 as Commercial Manager, and became Commercial Director in January 2023. Prior to this she worked in innovation and commercialization at Energy Impact Partners, and before that as an analyst at BloombergNEF, developing deep expertise in energy markets, policy, and clean technology. She holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and a BSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics.
Matt has over 10 years of experience in consultancy specialising in energy procurement and energy market advisory services including familiarity with topics such as PPA accounting treatment. Backed by client management skills, Matt has an extensive track record in providing tailored risk managed advice across global markets to a broad sector including government, water utilities, commercial and industrial clients.
Before joining South Pole, Matt worked for an Australian based climate consultant, ERM Energetics, where he advised clients on their optimal renewable energy strategies and led end-to-end PPA transactions including cohort/group aggregation models. Matt has a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and a Postgraduate Diploma in Energy and Carbon Studies and is based in our Amsterdam office.
Damla is a renewable energy engineer and consultant with 8+ years of professional experience. She advises multinational corporations on renewable energy strategies, decarbonization roadmaps, and global PPA implementations. She also leads technical modelling, market intelligence, and data management within South Pole's Renewable Energy Solutions team. Prior to joining South Pole, Damla worked as a power grid operator at the ENTSO-E Regional Coordination Centre and as a photovoltaic module researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute. She holds an MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering and Management, a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and a minor in Economics.
