C40 Municipal Infrastructure Finance Event at Habitat III, Quito

C40 Municipal Infrastructure Finance Event at Habitat III will mainly revolve around how Mayors can deliver the New Urban Agenda's vision of prosperous, equitable, and low-carbon/resilient cities as they are facing many challenges to deliver sustainable urban development, particularly acute financing challenges.

C40 and its partners are working together to support them through a new Call for Action on Municipal Infrastructure Finance with six concrete measures to improve the way sustainable urban infrastructure is funded and financed. Along with 26 leading international organisations, including the UN Environment Program, WWF, World Resources Institute, Natural Resources Defense Council and Overseas Development Institute, South Pole Group is proud to officially endorse the C40 Cities Call For Action on Municipal Infrastructure Finance.
