For twelve years, René Estermann led the climate protection organization Myclimate, which works closely with the travel industry. He left Myclimate last summer, after his vision for the future direction of the organisation no longer matched with that of the Foundation Board. In September 2018, Stephen Neff took over the management of myclimate.
Now it is known where René Estermann has gone. He is the new Director of Sustainability Services & Business Development at Southpole, a climate protection organisation also based in Switzerland.
