Damla is a renewable energy engineer with over 8 years of professional experience. She advises multinational corporations on renewable energy strategies, decarbonization roadmaps, and PPA implementations globally. Furthermore, she leads technical modelling, market intelligence and data management at South Pole's Renewable Energy Solutions team. Prior to joining South Pole, Damla worked as a power grid operator at the ENTSO-E Regional Coordination Centre and as a photovoltaic module researcher at Fraunhofer Institute. She holds an MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering and Management, a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and a minor in Economics.
