At a time when international agreement and action on climate change is paramount, the United Nations Climate Change Conferences bring together politicians, scientists, economists and civil society to build the novel partnerships and coalitions we need to achieve international cooperation and solve the climate crisis.
This year's summit is significant on multiple levels: the Article 6 rulebook is set to be finalised, which will provide the framework for voluntary contributions to global and national emission reduction targets; nature-based climate solutions will be explored; and we should see a roadmap established to meet the ambitions of the Paris climate agreement in the short window we have left.
