Florian Reimer

Florian is South Pole Groups' Climate Adviser and technical expert on services related to Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD+) & Land Use. He is the technical leader of the Kariba REDD+ community forest project in Zimbabwe, and has long-standing experience in the design of forest carbon inventories and capacity building for local forest managers and communities. He is a key player in South Pole Group’s efforts to find solutions to address climate change mitigation & adaptation by impact investment, shared value, and quantification of co-benefits.
