Designing the Impact Journey Framework

This comprehensive, step-by-step roadmap is designed to empower companies, regardless of their starting point, to take measurable action under the interconnected pillars of climate, nature and human rights. The framework provides tailored pathways for both small and large companies, ensuring relevance and accessibility.

Guidance across key sustainability pillars

It offers clear guidance across WJI 2030's three core pillars: supporting companies in building climate resilience (e.g., setting science-based targets), preserving resources (e.g., developing a high-level nature roadmap) and fostering inclusiveness (e.g., conducting human rights due diligence). Crucially, the framework connects companies with practical resources and tools to translate ambition into tangible action.

Collaborative development and strategic alignment

Throughout the development, our experts worked in close partnership with key WJI 2030 stakeholders. This ensured the framework was not only robust and practical but also seamlessly aligned with the initiative's overarching strategy. The Impact Action Journey Framework was officially launched via an engaging webinar, equipping members with the knowledge and tools necessary to accelerate their positive impact across their value chains.

The outcome

The Impact Action Journey Framework provides industry players with a clear, actionable and tailored path forward. By demystifying complex sustainability commitments and offering practical support, the framework empowers companies to accelerate their progress on climate, nature, and social inclusion. This enables WJI 2030 to more effectively drive collective action and achieve its ambitious vision for a sustainable watch and jewellery sector.
