guidance documents/templates updated
South Pole assessed 69 signatories on 12 Charter commitments, including renewable energy and coal phase-outs. Aligned with CDP disclosures, the review tracks the fashion sector's progress toward its 2050 net zero goal.
The assessment revealed both encouraging progress and systemic gaps across the industry. By pairing data insights with best practice case studies, the report offers a transparent view of what is working today and where urgent action is still required.
To ensure the findings translated into tangible change, we produced a detailed report with recommendations for brands, retailers and manufacturers across key areas, such as target-setting, climate transition planning and supplier engagement.
Beyond the report itself, we updated internal guidance for Charter signatories, including a guidance document to support consistent tracking and reporting against Charter commitments and a climate transition plan template aligned with current best practice guidance. These tools empower signatories to understand their obligations, report their progress accurately and navigate increasing regulatory pressure and stakeholder scrutiny with confidence.
