South Pole's biodiversity experts will be attending the UN Conference (COP15) in Montreal, Canada, from 8 to 16 December, 2022 on Biodiversity Action, and the implementation of the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework. This frameworkIt will outline the CBD's overall vision of “living in harmony with nature" by 2050 – a vision adopted by nearly 200 countries in 2010.

Liliana leads the Biodiversity Solutions Team at South Pole and has more than 16 years of experience in the integrated management of strategic ecosystems (especially páramos, Andean forests, tropical forests, savannas, and wetlands), protected areas and watersheds, and in the development of innovative financial schemes for biodiversity conservation, including biodiversity credits.
Liliana supports companies in their journey to nature-positive, with expertise in SBTN and TNFD, as well as implementation on the ground.
