Andres is an Associate Director and Practice Lead for Sustainable Finance at South Pole, where he leads the team supporting the transition of financial products and services toward the low-carbon economy by providing climate-related scientific data and strategy advice in three main areas: environmental impact analysis of financial products, regulatory and voluntary climate disclosure, and decarbonisation for FIs. His previous roles specialised in the application of the Global GHG Accounting Standard for the Financial Industry and development of physical and transition risk assessment approaches for investment and lending activities.
