Willy-Andreas Heckmann is an experienced communications leader, currently serving as the Head of Communications for the DACH region at South Pole. He is responsible for enhancing brand awareness and shaping impactful messaging to influence public conversations. Prior to joining South Pole, Willy-Andreas held senior positions such as Senior Spokesperson and Vice President Group Communications at Swiss Re, a leading reinsurer. He has a diverse background that includes journalism and consultancy, and holds a Master's degree in Communications, Sociology, and History from the University of Zurich.
