Our 2020 Sustainability Report examines our commitment to becoming more environmentally sustainable and socially responsible in everything we do, and this year we are excited to take a slightly different approach in how we tell the world about our impact.
As a company founded to help clients achieve their sustainability targets, we've played a large part in the global effort to tackle climate change. We have helped to reduce 170 million tonnes of C02 to date, and we're also proud of the broader impact we have made across many of the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), such as 55,000+ km2 of land we've helped protect and restore, USD 15+ billion of clean energy investment mobilized, and 100,000 jobs created along the way.
We also are aware that our vision, climate action for all, applies to us as much as it does to our partners, which is why we have made commitments for our own operational sustainability and have been working towards achieving them, including through our Sustainability Action Plan.
This year's report, which also serves as our Communication on Progress as signatories to the UN Global Compact, captures the full breadth of our sustainability efforts, both our external work - our "handprint" - and what we are doing internally - our "footprint."
