Alexis has worked for the WWF network for the past 14 years on corporate water risk and stewardship, market-based conservation and the environmental economics. He currently co-leads the Water Risk Filter and supports network coordination on water stewardship and standards. He has published on water stewardship and agricultural standards, water valuation, and from 2010-2014, played a key role in the development of the Alliance for Water Stewardship - including helping to establish the world's first global water stewardship standard. He has sat on the ISEAL Stakeholder Council, Gold Standard's Expert Panel, and on the Board of the White Ribbon Campaign. Alexis holds degrees in geography (Western University), hydrology (University of Toronto) and business administration (Schulich School of Business, York University). He lives, works, and plays in Vancouver, Canada with his partner, two boys and flunkie guide dog.
