Carolina is a biodiversity expert at South Pole, experienced in assessing impacts and dependencies on biodiversity, designing Nature-based Solutions projects, implementing sustainable landscape approach, and developing innovative financial schemes (PES, biodiversity credits, offsets etc).
She has supported private companies in their biodiversity journey to assess, strategize, set targets and finance action along their supply chains, in order to generate positive impacts on biodiversity.
She holds a B.A. in Biology and a Master's degree in Environmental Management with professional experience in environmental impacts assessment, corporate biodiversity strategy, and international environmental frameworks and standards (SBTN, TNFD, VCS/CCB, LandScale, among others).
