Savera has over 7 years in the packaging industry and is passionate about connecting solutions in the Circular Economy ecosystem. Prior to joining South Pole she was the former CEO of MSH Packaging Industries an industrial paper packaging manufacturer in Sri Lanka. She is also the founder of Ananta Sustainables, a company sourcing and supplying compostable packaging, and working with marginalised communities in Sri Lankan on circular economy education and solutions. Most recently she was on the UNDP Global Plastics Taskforce helping country offices and government agencies to roll out National Action plans for plastics and Circular Economy.
